This project consisted of remodeling a 3,500 sf house in Santa Rosa Valley, Camarillo, California. The existing house was a really bad 1960’s flat roofed house with a really bad paint job, and it resembled a dentist’s office. (No offense to you dentists out there!) The owners were in the enviable position of having enough square footage, so we focused on remodeling the exterior, the kitchen and a few other rooms. We added pitched tile roofs and re-stuccoed the exterior. There were a few existing conditions that we had to work around -- we couldn’t add onto the front of the garages due to setback limits, the pitch of the existing tile roof was steeper than we would have preferred, and the new tile roof had to match the existing tile. Various flat interior ceilings were vaulted and enhanced. The house sits is located on a 1 acre horse property. I’ll add some interior photos when I have the time.
